Okay, so maybe that isn’t a very good episode title. Too bad. Aaron edits the show. Aaron decides what to call the show. You wanna’ call it something else, learn to edit bitches! (Ahem - Sorry). Anyway, on this issue of GeekintheCity Radio, Scott and Dan force the unthinkable. Captain Flame Arms rises to burn his own. Like when Batman needs to back-hand Clark, but with more fire. Also, Aaron gives a short ass review of Cop Out. Dan talks of Pirate parties and concerts. Scott interviews Drowning Boy, the lead behind Portland’s premiere Cure tribute band. All that, and epic nerd rage.
This weeks musical breaks are:
Aquaman - Ookla the Mok
The Geek - Wir sind Helden

On this issue of GeekintheCity Radio, Aaron and Scott keep it in the old school with Scott’s review of Shutter Island. Then, learn how you can be a part of Cheezy Flick’s newest film… Stripperland! Next, Scott activates the Rant Symbol and Captain Flame Arms once makes an appearance. Proving that like Belloq, there is nothing Aaron can say that Captain Flame Arms cannot take away. All that, and the reason behind the hate for “Martin Score-ceez“.
This weeks musical breaks are:

In this brass ball issue of GeekintheCity Radio, Aaron and Scott talk about sports. Honest. Not Pyramid Ball or Quidditch, but honest to Bob sports. Specifically the Saints marching to victory, Blazer talk, and the Further Adventures of Ron Mexicoooooooo! (Aka, that douche Michael Vick). Don’t worry, it doesn’t last long. To make up for it, Aaron reviews the newest locally made flick I Am Virgin. Starring boobs, Ron Jeremy, and boobs. Then, Aaron and Scott delve into movie news that once again rolls into a conversation about state of the comic book industry. Oh yeah, and Evil Dead is playing at the Bagdad Friday February 12 at 11pm (doors at 10). Only $5 grants you entrance into one of the classics of horror cinema. Boo Yaa!

In this anger and Scotch fueled issue of GeekintheCity Radio, Aaron and Dan start the show with a wee sip ‘o booze and head down a path of ranting not heard since Dennis Miller was relevant. There is no way to organize what happens in this issue. Just know this, it starts with mass pimping of Evil Dead at the Bagdad, Friday February 12 at 11pm (door at 10pm). Then, transfers to Oscar talk. Shifts philosophically to superheroes. Finally, sets the stage for William Wallace to fight the Cloverfield Monster in a duel to the death. Only on GeekintheCity Radio. Truly.
This weeks musical breaks are:
Cabin in the Woods - Evil Dead: The Musical
Don’t forget, Friday February 12 at 11pm at the Bagdad Theater - GeekintheCity presents The Evil Dead in glorious 35mm - Make that Sam Raimi’s personal copy of the Evil Dead in glorious 35mm! Tickets are just $5 - 21 and over. (Sorry, it is a bar).
As always, GeekintheCity Radio is brought to you by Things From Another World.
